Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping at Merybook (merybook.com)! We are committed to delivering your order accurately, in good condition, and on time within the United States. Please review our shipping policy below for details on processing times, shipping methods, costs, and delivery estimates.
1. Order Processing Time (Handling Time)
- Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 2 business days after payment confirmation and order verification.
- Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
- Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
- During peak seasons (such as back-to-school periods) or promotional events, processing times may be slightly longer. We will notify you if significant delays are expected.
2. Shipping Methods, Costs, and Estimated Delivery Times (U.S. Only)
We offer the following shipping option for deliveries within the United States:
- Method: Standard Shipping
- Cost: We offer a flat shipping rate of $4.60 per order. This cost applies to orders shipped within the United States [See Section 3 for details on specific locations]. This cost will be clearly displayed during checkout.
- Estimated Delivery Time (Transit Time): Once your order has shipped, please allow 6 to 10 business days for delivery via Standard Shipping.
- Carriers: We typically use carriers such as USPS (United States Postal Service), UPS SurePost, UPS Mail Innovations, or other standard ground services for this shipping method. The specific carrier will be chosen based on the destination and package details.
Important Note on Total Delivery Time: The total estimated time to receive your order is the sum of the Order Processing Time and the Estimated Delivery Time (Transit Time). For example, with a 1-2 business day processing time and 6-10 business day transit time, you can typically expect your order within 7 to 12 business days from the date you place your order.
Please note that delivery times are estimates provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to weather, carrier issues, holidays, or other factors beyond our control, especially for non-contiguous U.S. locations.
3. Shipping Destinations (United States Only)
- Merybook exclusively ships orders to addresses within the United States. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
- Our Standard Shipping option (with the $4.60 flat rate and 6-10 business day estimated delivery) covers addresses within the 48 contiguous U.S. states.
- Shipping to Alaska (AK), Hawaii (HI), P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO Addresses, and U.S. Territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam):
- We ship to all 50 U.S. states (including Alaska and Hawaii), P.O. Boxes, and APO/FPO addresses via Standard Shipping for the $4.60 flat rate. Please be aware that delivery to non-contiguous states, P.O. Boxes, and military addresses may occasionally exceed the 6-10 business day estimate.
4. Shipment Tracking
- Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s).
- You can use this tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment directly on the carrier’s website. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become active after receiving the email.
5. Shipping Address Accuracy
- It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address within the United States at the time of order placement.
- Please double-check your shipping information before submitting your order.
- Merybook is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer. Packages returned due to an incorrect address may be subject to additional shipping charges for reshipment. We are not liable for delays or non-delivery resulting from inaccurate address information.
6. Undeliverable Packages
- If a package is returned to us by the carrier as undeliverable (e.g., due to incorrect address, recipient unavailable, refused delivery within the U.S.), we will attempt to contact you to resolve the issue.
- Reshipment of undeliverable packages may incur additional shipping fees, payable by the customer. Alternatively, we may process a refund for the product cost minus the original shipping charge and any return fees imposed by the carrier.
7. Lost or Damaged Shipments
- Lost Packages: If your tracking information shows your package was delivered but you have not received it, or if your package has not arrived within a reasonable time after the estimated delivery window (especially considering potential delays to non-contiguous areas), please contact our Customer Support within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with the carrier to investigate the issue.
- Damaged Packages: If your order arrives damaged, please contact our Customer Support within 3 days of delivery. Please retain all original packaging materials and the damaged item(s). We will likely request photos of the damage to assist in filing a claim with the carrier and arranging a replacement or refund as per our Return and Refund Policy.
8. Holidays and Peak Seasons
- Please be aware that shipping carriers may experience delays during U.S. federal holidays and peak shopping seasons (e.g., November-December). Order processing times may also be slightly longer during these periods. We appreciate your patience.
